Sometimes you'll find that you've accidentally created a duplicate medical record for a patient, and you'd like to merge the patient records.
To get started, make sure that both patients are listed under the same owner. (If not, you need to transfer ownership first.) Then make sure that the patient you are eliminating/merging has all patient tasks completed. From that patient's dashboard, in the "patient context menu", the bottom option will be "Merge":

Clicking that option will bring up this window:

Selecting a patient and clicking "Merge Patient" will bring up this confirmation with explanation:

If you click "Merge" at this point, the system will copy the records from Foodle's chart into Noodle's chart, and mark Foodle as an "inactive" patient. You'll still be able to get back to those old records in the inactive chart if you ever need to, from the client's page:
