In order to use the Dosage Calculator, you'll need to specify the correct dosage numbers in the "Inventory Settings" --> "Inventory" section.
So first click on the gear menu:
and select "Inventory Settings"
Once there open the "Inventory" section:
Feel free to filter the items to find the one you are looking for eg: "inj"
For example, clicking on the "Injection, Acepromazine" item brings up this window where we can select the "Dosage Calculations" tab:
Once the unit of measure, concentration, and dosages per route are set up, clicking "Save" will record these values.
When that is complete, any time that item is selected as a Treatment (in the Assessment section of an exam), the calculator icon will be displayed on the right side of the Quantity field:
Clicking that icon brings up the calculator, where you can select the route, adjust the selected dosage and/or number of doses, and click the green button with the calculated dosage, in order to automatically populate that dosage into the medical record:
